Attraktion! has announced the launch of Playblaster, an interactive device designed for dark rides, immersive venues, arcade games, and custom media-based experiences.

The system is engineered to convert passive audiences into active participants by combining aiming, score tracking, and target interaction across both digital and physical environments to enhance repeatability and guest engagement.

Hardware Specifications & Features

Playblaster incorporates multi-sensory feedback features, including an onboard score display, integrated speaker, programmable LED effects, a vibration module, and a responsive trigger mechanism. The device is offered in two hardware configurations:

• Playblaster Link: A wired solution designed for fixed attraction and ride system integrations.
• Playblaster Air: A battery-powered wireless option providing up to 10 hours of continuous operation on a single charge.

System Compatibility & Design Customization

The device supports integration with Unity and Unreal Engine content workflows via dedicated plugins. Beyond standard attraction formats like Circulum 360 and interactive dark rides, Attraktion! offers Playblaster as a standalone hardware solution for third-party ride manufacturers, developers, and system integrators.

In addition to off-the-shelf software and custom IP development services, the physical housing of the device can be customized to fit specific story themes, transforming into futuristic blasters, camera-style controllers, or fantasy wands.
