Crayola is kicking up the creativity with a multifaceted, national campaign to celebrate and support the U.S. Women’s Team in their bid for an historic three-peat of the world’s greatest soccer event.
To celebrate this exciting game, Crayola has partnered with FOX Sports and U.S. Soccer to launch the Art of Soccer, spanning both the 2022 men’s tournament and this summer’s women’s tournament.
Soccer is a fast-paced game of self-expression and creative possibilities. Through the Art of Soccer, kids and families across the country are encouraged to get their game on, show their U.S. pride, and cheer on the women’s team through participation in a variety of activities and events.
Additionally, last year four artists were commissioned to design custom soccer balls inspired by the key values of U.S. Soccer—integrity, commitment, teamwork, and respect. The “Teamwork” ball was selected to be reproduced and is being sold exclusively on Amazon. A portion of the proceeds will be contributed to U.S. Soccer’s efforts to grow the game at all levels.
“Crayola celebrates creativity—whether it’s colorful self-expression through art or innovative play making while on the pitch“, said Rich Wuerthele, Crayola President & CEO. “Our collaboration with U.S. Soccer and FOX Sports is a unique opportunity to help kids learn teamwork, problem solving, community, and creativity through art and athletics, and watch those characteristics in action as the U.S. Women’s National Team takes on the world”.
Throughout the world tournament, kids and families can unleash their imaginations and let their colorful ideas shine to cheer on the home team with the Art of Soccer activities at Crayola.com/Soccer.
