Original Stormtrooper Unveils Three New Looks

Shepperton Design Studio’s Original Stormtrooper licensing programme, looks set to enter its second decade in style with three fabulous new styleguides available to licensees and retailers.

The styleguides deliver on trend themes including 80’s retro, manga and space giving licensees graphics, colours and designs that place the Original Stormtrooper in new worlds. This new creative will build on the enormous love and affection that fans have for this globally recognisable intergenerational character.

Rebeckah Dalton, Golden Goose’s Creative and Product Director who has been heading up the creative strategy and product development for the licensing programme, said:

“We consulted with licensees and retailers before specifying these styleguides and our client Andrew Ainsworth was very hands on, delivering the same care and attention to the design aesthetic as he did to when making the first costumes.”

Developed by Watermelon Creative, these new designs should hit shelves this year giving consumers a fresh range of products in time the 50th anniversary.

Golden Goose will focus on building a curated portfolio of licensees aligned with the brand’s creative DNA, targeting premium partners who can translate Terry de Havilland’s bold, glamorous spirit into new product categories.
