Australian Children’s Content Summit 2026 Guest Lineup

Australia’s only dedicated marketplace and summit for children’s and family screen content, the Australian Children’s Content Summit (ACCS), is back for its fourth year to continue shaping the stories of tomorrow.

Returning to New South Wales’ Coffs Coast from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August 2026, the summit promises four days of connection, creation, and collaboration at Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour.

Global Reach and Key Participants

International featured guests have already confirmed their attendance, including:

  • Barry Toa (Assistant Lead Strategic Partnerships & Kids, Mediacorp)
  • Tyler Martin (Content Acquisitions Manager: Kids, Film and Partnerships, ITV)
  • Tom Beattie (Managing Director, Tiger Aspect Kids & Family)
  • Emily Horgan (Kids YouTube & Streaming Specialist, Kids StreamerSphere)

The local Australian line-up is equally impressive, featuring Melinda Wearne (Head of Children and Family, ABC) alongside representatives from the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF), Nine, NITV, Screen Australia, and various state screen agencies.

Presented by SLR Productions, the summit sees the ACTF return as Principal Partner, with Screen Australia and Screen NSW as Major Government Partners. Gold Partners include Flying Bark Productions, ABC, Simpsons, and Screenwest.

Suzanne Ryan, SLR Productions CEO and Summit Founder, said: “Children’s and family content is one of Australia’s most powerful creative assets. The Australian Children’s Content Summit brings together the full ecosystem, from emerging voices to global leaders, in one highly connected marketplace.

A Proven Marketplace for Kids IP

Since its launch in 2023, the ACCS has attracted over 260 delegates annually from 12 countries, including senior executives from BBC Studios, PBS Kids, Apple TV+, Disney, Netflix, Sony, Paramount, Amazon Kids+, and Warner Bros. Discovery. The event has become a primary catalyst for development partnerships, project commissions, and international collaborations.

Jenny Buckland, CEO of the Australian Children’s Television Foundation, highlighted the importance of the event:

“Rapid change is reshaping our industry, and none of us can navigate change in a vacuum. If you’re interested in kids’ screen content on any platform, there is something new to learn at the Summit.”

Once again hosted by Dr. Emma Watkins (known for ‘Emma Memma’), the 2026 summit will feature:

  • Pitching opportunities and curated matchmaking.
  • Key workshops and engaging sessions with industry influencers.
  • Unparalleled networking set against the stunning NSW coastal backdrop.

Building on its previous success, the summit offers delegates exceptional access to producers, creators, writers, buyers, and policymakers, reinforcing its status as Australia’s premier platform for the children’s and family content industry.
