Surge Brands has been appointed the exclusive global licensing agent for the fast-growing Fart Monsters brand, the irreverent and comedic toy property owned by Scentco, Inc.

Originally launched as a line of scented plush toys featuring a built-in, self-inflating whoopee cushion, Fart Monsters has quickly gained traction for its blend of humor, collectability, and sensory play. The brand currently features six distinct characters and is positioned at the intersection of novelty toys and impulse-driven gift products, with strong appeal among kids and tween audiences.

The Fart Monsters brand taps into the enduring strength of the novelty and humor-based toy segment, a category that continues to thrive within the broader U.S. toy industry, which generates more than $40 billion annually and sells billions of units each year.

Under the agreement, Surge Brands will develop and manage a comprehensive worldwide licensing program for Fart Monsters, expanding the brand across key consumer product categories, including apparel, accessories, collectibles, home goods, and novelty items. The Fart Monsters licensing program is anticipated to begin rolling out at retail in 2027.
