UMusic Shop NY is setting the stage in NYC for a week of artist events in partnership with The Governors Ball.
From June 1 through June 7, UMusic Shop NY is giving fans first access to shop official Gov Ball merchandise and engage with their favorite artists through exclusive offerings, immersive retail experiences, and special surprise artist appearances.
With store takeovers featuring Kali Uchis, Pierce the Veil, and Katseye, it will be the premier place in the city outside the festival with certified merch. This activation series creates additional fan touchpoints that extend the excitement of the weekend, beyond the festival grounds.
While the store will be closed to the public on Monday, June 1, exclusive media and special guests can get a first look between 11AM and 5PM to explore the official UMusic Shop NY x Gov Ball Tee and the universal festival collection, including bandanas, hats, Hydro Flasks, and more. From Tuesday onwards, the public celebration kicks off, and the space will be visually and sonically curated into an artist-inspired oasis featuring exclusive store-only apparel and accessories, a photo booth, and other interactive photo moments.
Throughout the week, fans are invited to join in on the celebration of music at 2 Penn Plaza and shop the general Gov Ball collection. Please note that artist-specific merchandise will be exclusively available on their respective dedicated pop-up dates. The initiative highlights UMusic Shop NY’s ability to leverage its expansive UMG artist network to connect with diverse fanbases and bring fan culture together in one shared space.
The store will be open from 10AM – 8PM (except where noted), with the following schedule:
Monday, June 1: Closed to the public (Media & Special Previews 11AM – 5PM for Gov Ball collection)
Tuesday, June 2: Kali Uchis Pop-Up (Kali Uchis merchandise available exclusively on this date)
Wednesday, June 3: Pierce the Veil Pop-Up (Pierce the Veil merchandise available exclusively on this date)
Thursday, June 4: Katseye Pop-Up (Katseye merchandise available exclusively on this date)
