Rebellion: Celebrating Fifty Years of 2000 AD

Rebellion has announced a new wave of official products launched in partnership with the world’s largest cult entertainment retailer, Forbidden Planet.

Based on comic strips from legendary cult sci-fi series, 2000 AD – known as “The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic” – these new products feature eye-popping art and characters from Strontium Dog to Halo Jones, Sláine and ABC Warriors.  A range of t-shirts, pin badges, art prints and homeware is available, expanding a universe of ground-breaking characters from comics’ top creators.

2000 AD is one of the longest-running and most celebrated comics in the world today. First published in 1977, 2000 AD will celebrate fifty years of publication in 2027, having sold millions of comics for fans around the world. It has been the proving ground for some of the biggest names in comics today – Alan Moore, Mark Millar, Garth Ennis, Mick McMahon, Frank Quietly and Grant Morrison – as well as nurturing the next generation to explode onto the comic book scene, including Al Ewing and Rob Williams.

Over a quarter of a century, 2000 AD has created hundreds of memorable comic book characters, including the dystopian future lawman, Judge Dredd. This new wave of character products joins an expansive Judge Dredd collection already available in-store.

All products are available at Forbidden Planet stores in many major UK cities, including the famous London Megastore on Shaftesbury Avenue.

Products are also available online at Forbidden Planet.
