The company is entering a new phase of growth, led by three strategically distinct properties targeting global audiences, kidult consumers and German-speaking markets alike.
Studio 100 International is making a clear statement with its current slate: premium IP, thoughtfully developed and positioned for scalable licensing, is the priority. Three properties in particular illustrate the breadth of the company’s strategy — each targeting a different audience, territory and commercial opportunity.
GIFTED: A Premium Live-Action Brand Built for Global Scale
At the top of the slate sits GIFTED, a new live-action series designed from the ground up for international rollout and strong licensing potential. Targeting 8-to-14-year-olds, the show builds on Studio 100 International’s experience in the genre, including its long-running success with House of Anubis.
The production credentials speak for themselves. GIFTED is produced by Black Camel Pictures and Media Valley for BBC Children’s and Education, and filmed on location in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The show launched on CBBC and BBC iPlayer in late 2025, with international distribution set to roll out across 2026. Adding to its visibility is the casting of rising talent Dominic McLaughlin, who is also set to appear as Harry Potter in HBO‘s highly anticipated upcoming series.
Studio 100 International holds global distribution rights alongside licensing and merchandising rights outside GSA territories, positioning GIFTED as a premium live-action franchise with the architecture to grow across platforms and product categories.
Heroes of Childhood: Classic IP Reimagined for the Kidult Generation
The second major property speaks to one of licensing’s most commercially significant trends: the rise of the kidult consumer. Heroes of Childhood brings together a portfolio of beloved classic characters — Heidi, Vic the Viking, Pinocchio, Marco and Alice in Wonderland — reimagined with a fresh, pop-culture aesthetic.
The strategy is deliberately social-first, using short-form content on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok to drive awareness. The rationale is backed by data: research indicates that 40% of adults in Europe purchase toys for themselves, and nostalgia continues to fuel growth. The go-to-market approach begins with fashion, with retro-inspired apparel collections already in distribution via Zalando, About You, and Amazon.
Tracht Man: A Regional Superhero with Cross-Generational Licensing Appeal
The third property takes a sharply different approach. Tracht Man — billed as Bavaria’s first superhero — is a character-driven IP that combines comic-book action with regional identity. The IP has been in market since 2017, with over 20 comic titles released and more than 60,000 copies sold.
Crucially, the target demographic extends well beyond children; Tracht Man is positioned for teens and adults, making it a genuinely differentiated option for licensing partners seeking culturally specific concepts in the German-speaking (GSA) market.
A Portfolio With Purpose
Taken together, these three properties reflect a deliberate strategic logic. GIFTED anchors the premium, globally scalable end of the slate. Heroes of Childhood captures the nostalgia economy and the kidult demographic. Tracht Man serves a defined regional market with culturally specific differentiation.
Studio 100 International is presenting itself not simply as a distributor, but as a licensing partner with a clear point of view — and a portfolio built to match.
