With over 50 million products distributed, a Roblox game surpassing five million players, and a partner roster spanning Spin Master to Zara, Officina Comunicazione’s flagship IP is building the infrastructure for a fully-fledged cross-media franchise.
Record-Breaking Market Performance
Skifidol Italian Brainrot™, the trading card game and collectibles IP developed by Modena-based Officina Comunicazione, has delivered one of the most striking commercial debuts in recent licensing history. Since its launch in April 2025, the property has distributed over 50 million TCG products worldwide, released more than 750 characters across six series, and attracted upwards of 1,000 press articles internationally. Industry analysts have drawn comparisons to the early growth trajectories of Pokémon and Pop Mart’s Labubu in terms of speed of consumer adoption – a benchmark few European IPs have come close to achieving.
The collectible pipeline has been relentless: from the Serie Alpha “Universo Psichedelico” and Serie Beta “Allucinazione Cosmica” through to the Cuties range – pairing cards with 3D keychains and plush figures – the Pyramid micro-3D series, and the Roblox Limited Edition set released in early 2026. A Vinyl 3D collectible line featuring nine characters is confirmed for April to September 2026. Each wave has sustained consumer momentum, with the brand’s 60/40 male-to-female audience split reflecting genuine cross-generational reach.
Digital Reach: Five Million Roblox Players in Two Months
The December 2025 launch of “Find The Skifidol Brainrot Card™ on Roblox marked a pivotal moment for the IP, demonstrating its ability to translate physical collector enthusiasm into sustained digital engagement. The game surpassed five million unique players within two months – a figure that few licensed properties, let alone European ones, have matched on the platform. Combined with a high-impact influencer strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that has driven millions of views per content cycle, the brand has built a digital community that licensing partners can meaningfully activate at scale.
A Partner Ecosystem Spanning Every Consumer Category
The depth of Skifidol Italian Brainrot™s licensing programme is, arguably, its most commercially compelling feature. On the distribution side, Spin Master manages the United States and Canada, Panini covers Europe (excluding Italy) and South America, and Banter handles Australia. In publishing, Mondadori, Gruppo Mauri Spagnol, Fabbri Editori, Salani and Panini are active partners. Newspapers in Italy, such as Corriere della Sera, Il Sole 24 Ore, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport have each produced exclusive promotional card series tied to the brand.
Apparel lines are live with Daddato, EPlus, Sun City and Van Der Erve, including placement at Zara, and covering Italy and the EMEA region.
Footwear is covered by Asso; back-to-school by Dimagraf, Franco Cosimo Panini-Comix, Graffiti, Safta and Seven. Food and beverage partners include Pernigotti, DLG Food, ELG and Road House Restaurant. Amusement park activations are running at Bluwater, Acquaworld and MagicLand. Loyalty programme integrations are secured with Dixi, Road House and Slata. The result is a category footprint that rivals properties with decades of market history.
