The Australian Children’s Content Summit opens applications for its 2026 pitch, featuring global buyers like Animal Logic and ITV.
Australian creators will have a rare opportunity to pitch directly to leading broadcasters, platforms, distributors, studios, investors, and theatrical buyers from Australia and around the world, with Animal Logic Entertainment, ITV, and Roadshow Films among the industry decision-makers participating in the 2026 Exclusive Content Pitch at this year’s Australian Children’s Content Summit.
With applications now open, the 2026 Exclusive Content Pitch will see the return of many industry leaders including ITV and Roadshow Films. For the first time, Australia and US-based Animal Logic Entertainment will be in attendance as part of the expanded marketplace designed to connect Australian creators with executives actively looking for children’s and family content.
The event boasts a wide range of participating companies seeking projects from early development through to completed productions, including representatives from ABC, ABC Commercial, Australian Children’s Television Foundation, FNX Television, Mediacorp, Minderoo Pictures, Nine Network Australia, NITV, Odin’s Eye Entertainment, Sesame Workshop, Hooligan Animation, Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, TVOKids, and VIVA Pictures.
Held on the second day of the summit, the Exclusive Content Pitch gives successful applicants 10 minutes to present their project, followed by questions and discussion with the industry representatives who selected their project. Applications close on 15 July 2026 at midnight.
What the Key Buyers Are Looking For
- Animal Logic Entertainment (Felicity Staunton, EVP): Looking to connect with a new wave of unique Australian creators developing ambitious ideas across animation, live-action, and feature films that possess global, commercial appeal.
- ITV (Tyler Martin, Acquisitions Manager): Primary focus is on ITVX Kids content for 6–12-year-olds across all genres (excluding educational programming). Seeking bright, bold, and fast-paced shows with a cheeky sense of humor that align with IPs like Mr Bean: The Animated Series, LEGO Ninjago, and Scooby-Doo. Preschool content will only be considered if based on an established IP.
