Studio 100 International is heading to Brand Licensing Europe 2026 with a diverse portfolio, where the highlights include Mortina, Chill Out, Zeus!, Louca, global preschool hit Vegesaurs and the expanding Maya the Bee universe.
Mortina: Celebrating the Joy of Being Different
Based on Barbara Cantini’s international bestselling book series (600,000 copies across 30 countries), Mortina is a 2D animated mystery-comedy combining gothic charm, warmth, humor and playful adventure.
The series follows nine-year-old zombie Mortina and her “alive-alive” friends Nora and Leo,
loyal dog Tragedy, and cousin Dilbert. From Crumbling Manor, the Mystery Squad solves
strange cases, from retrieving books hidden by a mischievous tongue to tracking BroccoGloomy, a vegetable that can make you sprout dragonfly wings.

Co-produced by Cartobaleno and Treehouse Republic and commissioned by RAIKIDS and RTÉ, the series targets children aged 5 to 8.
Canal+ has acquired the series for France. Studio 100 International holds worldwide licensing and merchandising rights excluding Italy.
With its distinctive gothic world and recognizable characters, Mortina offers licensing potential from Halloween promotions to year-round consumer products. Its message celebrates being different, with themes of friendship, belonging and confidence.
Chill Out, Zeus! Puts a New Spin on Mythology
Produced by die film gmbh in coproduction with ARD / HR and Spain’s COZ AIE
for 6- to 12-year-olds, Chill Out, Zeus! offers a humorous take on Greek mythology,
blending action, comedy and family dynamics.
Inspired by Frank Schwieger’s children’s book, it introduces young audiences to the gods and heroes of Ancient Greece through contemporary storytelling.

The story centers on Zeus, ruler of Olympus and Earth, whose legendary temper regularly
plunges his kingdom into chaos. His teenage children Aphrodite, Athena, Heracles and
Hermes navigate impossible errands and unexpected challenges. The series brings
mythology to kids in a fresh, entertaining way, creating licensing and merchandising
potential.
Louca: Comedy, Courage and Friendship
Adapted from Bruno Dequier’s best-selling French comic series, produced by French Media Valley with Belgium’s Belvision and aimed at 6- to 11-year-olds, Louca follows an ordinary boy whose life changes when he meets Nathan – confident, athletic, and a ghost visible only to him.

Guided by Nathan, Louca stumbles into football glory, classroom challenges, and the ups and downs of first love. While football frames the narrative, the series transcends sport, exploring themes o resilience, friendship, and finding the courage to believe in yourself and push beyond your limits. With diverse characters and strong female roles, Louca appeals equally to boys and girls.
Vegesaurs Continues its Global Growth
Vegesaurs is strengthening its position as a global licensing property, with five seasons and
100 episodes reaching more than 120 territories. Produced by Cheeky Little Media with
Studio 100 International, the series continues to grow across broadcast, digital and consumer products.

YouTube remains central to the digital strategy, with clips, Shorts and sing-alongs driving
discovery, while TikTok, Instagram and Facebook extend its reach. A Vegesaurs Roblox
activation created by Freeground, Epic Story Media’s game development studio, generated
more than 200,000 visits in its first four weeks.
Epic Story Toys is leading the global master toy program. The first toy line launched in
Australia in July, with further rollouts planned. The range includes collectibles, plush, figures
and playsets inspired by the fruit- and vegetable-themed dinosaurs, combining humor with
the brand’s positive approach to food and healthy habits.
Publishing through Macmillan, retail activity with Lidl and Okay, and immersive experiences
including a flagship Sydney activation are further building the franchise.
Maya the Bee: 50 Years and Still Buzzing
Studio 100 International is marking 50 years of Maya the Bee on TV with a major 2026
anniversary and licensing push in Germany. A social campaign launched in February featuring memes, creator/collaborations and partner promotions peaked with a joint live birthday party alongside an influencer, while rapper Eko Fresh’s anniversary track “Maja
(Summ Summ Summ)” tapped into nostalgia among adult fans.

New licensing highlights include HABA’s first Maya toy range, plus partnerships with Derbystar, Heunec, Penaten, Edurino and Lobster & Lemonade. The campaign is further supported by Roblox, ZDF/KiKA and a 50-store VEDES initiative
The Maya universe is also expanding with Arnie & Barney, a CGI comedy adventure feature, introducing two new ant heroes and targeting older kids and families, creating fresh licensing opportunities.
