Rainbow announces the acquisition of a majority stake in 247 Production, a digital entertainment company founded in 2017 by Nicola Bertona, Andrea Pisani and Luca Peracino (popular Italian comedy duo PanPers). The transaction is part of Rainbow’s growth and diversification strategy, which has accelerated following the investment by TEC Movie, an independent vehicle established by investors participating in The Equity Club initiative, a club deal operating in partnership with Mediobanca. The acquisition further strengthens Rainbow’s positioning in digital content, the creator economy and branded entertainment. The integration will create new opportunities for synergies across audiovisual production, creativity, talent management and brand-focused projects.
247 Production has established itself as one of the most dynamic companies in the sector, thanks to a business model combining creative and production capabilities, managerial expertise, a strong roster of talent and creators, and extensive experience in developing branded content and original formats. In 2025, the company delivered more than 100 projects and over 3,500 pieces of content, expanding its presence across comedy, educational and informative content, food, music and entertainment.
Nicola Bertona will remain at the helm of 247 Production, ensuring continuity in the company’s growth trajectory. At the same time, he will take on the role of Vice President of Strategy & Commercial Development at the Rainbow Group, within the TV, Digital and Talent division led by Gian Paolo Tagliavia, with responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities in Digital Entertainment.
