Volt Factor Signs Top Culinary Creators for Licensing Lines

Representation Kicks Off with Consumer Products Already in Motion, Including a Warren James Spices & Seasoning line for Kimmy’s Kreations and an Event Merch Direct-to-Fan Webstore for Ashley Yi

The platform built to scale creator IP into global consumer brands, Volt Factor, co-founded by entrepreneur and licensing executive Elan Freedman and former YouTube executive Lindsay Hampton, announced its representation for culinary and lifestyle creators Kimmy’s Kreations, Owen Han and Ashley Yi. Volt Factor will develop and commercialize consumer product programs worldwide for all three, translating their highly engaged digital audiences into long-term omni-channel consumer brands.

The announcement follows Volt Factor’s May launch and first client partnerships, TheBurntPeanut, Alan Chikin Chow, and That’s Amazing, and marks the company’s public entry into the culinary creator category, one of the most commercially active corners of the creator economy. Together, Kimmy’s Kreations, Owen Han and Ashley Yi reach more than 30 million followers and subscribers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms, bringing distinct creative identities and strong licensing potential across food, kitchen, home, lifestyle, apparel and specialty consumer products.

Freedman, Volt Factor’s CEO, said:

“Nothing connects people like food. It’s the one thing every human being shares – we’re built to crave it, to gather around it, to mark our lives by it. The best culinary creators sit at the center of that, shaping how millions of people cook, eat and live. Kimberly, Owen, and Ashley have each earned that kind of trust – and trust like that is what enduring consumer brands are built on.”

“Creators are building culture in real time, and culinary creators are doing it in one of the most personal categories there is,” said Hampton, Volt Factor’s President. “Kimmy’s Kreations, Owen Han, and Ashley Yi each have a distinctive voice and loyal audience. We are excited to work alongside them and their teams to build product strategies that feel authentic to their brands and deliver real value to fans.”

Self-taught chef, entrepreneur, and Navy veteran Kimberly Nichols is a trailblazer in the culinary world, known for her vibrant personality, bold creations, and everyday dishes elevated with her signature “wow factor.” Kimmy’s Kreations blends Southern charm with New York flair, inspiring home cooks with approachable, crave-worthy recipes and an unmistakable family-first spirit. A 2024 inductee into BET’s inaugural Culture Class, Kimberly has built a passionate audience of more than 11 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook. She has partnered with major brands including DAWN Powerwash, Finish, Johnsonville, Scrub Daddy, Char-Broil, Warner Bros., and FOX. As part of the brand’s continued expansion, Kimmy’s Kreations has signed a licensing deal with Warren James for a seasoning line, with Volt Factor also negotiating a new community program partnership.

Known to millions of fans as the “King of Sandwiches,” Owen Han is a chef and culinary content creator whose quick-cut, ASMR-style videos and inventive global flavor combinations have made him one of the most recognizable food creators online. Drawing inspiration from his Chinese and Italian heritage, Owen brings a global culinary perspective to content that is both highly watchable and deeply personal. Owen has built an audience of more than 7.9 million followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and has collaborated with brands including Coca-Cola, Nutella, Burger King, and Made In, and with cultural and culinary figures such as Gordon Ramsay, Giada De Laurentiis, Paris Hilton, Naomi Osaka and Devin Booker.

Los Angeles-born creator Ashley Yi, originally recognized for her entertaining food videos, has grown into a multifaceted creator known also for her lifestyle, beauty, and entertainment content, while maintaining a strong culinary identity and an audience that connects with her authenticity and personality. With over 11 million followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, she has partnered with leading food, QSR, and lifestyle brands including McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Applebee’s, Jack in the Box, Target, ULTA, Living Proof and SKIMS, and served as a creator host for the TikTok Red Carpet at the Emmys. Ashley recently signed a webstore deal with Event Merch, negotiated by Volt Factor, creating a direct-to-fan channel for products tied to her brand.

Volt Factor’s expansion into the culinary category reflects the company’s broader strategy of identifying creators with strong audience affinity, clear brand identity, and long-term licensing potential. By combining creator strategy, brand architecture and licensing execution, Volt Factor helps digital-native talent build scalable businesses across consumer products, content and brand partnerships.

Volt Factor is supported by a distinguished group of founding advisers, including Stephen Davis, former Chief Content Officer of Hasbro and President of Hasbro Studios & Consumer Products; Ken Black, former VP and Global Creative Director at Nike and co-founder of Nike SPARQ; Jim Lee, President and COO of Crunch Labs with prior leadership roles at Google and Cisco; and Ed Latessa, owner of The Latessa Corp., a seasoned operator and investor affiliated with Raptor Group, and having served advisory roles including Gap and AS Roma.
