Acamar Films Launches Again! Again! Channel

Again! Again!, Acamar Films’ new global public service values channel has gone live with a schedule packed with some of the most acclaimed children’s programming from leading international producers.

Acamar has partnered with IP owners from across the global creative community to bring its preschool audience a line-up of high-quality character and narrative-driven content which supports healthy child development. At a time of growing global concern about the quality and safety of content for children, Again! Again!’s gentler-paced programming and strong educational values, creates a valued and trusted space for grown-ups, carers and educators alike.

Launching globally on YouTube, Again! Again! combines the warmth and familiarity of a traditional presenter-led TV channel with the flexibility and boundless capacity of a digital platform. Regular live-streamed programming and specially selected age-appropriate themed genres create an experience that feels purposeful, safe and calming for its audience. Again! Again!’s gentle approach is designed to build a viewing relationship for the long term.

The launch schedule features an exceptional line-up of beloved children’s programming, including titles from The Jim Henson Company/Cookbook Media’s Pajanimals, Animal Show, Billy Bunny’s Animal Songs; Kaia’s Discoveries from Brazil’s Hype Media; Glow Dogs from Obki; Buddi and Circle Square from Raydar Media, and Adastra Creative titles Grandpa in My Pocket and Ha Ha Hairies.

Again! Again! is curated by an expert team, with a strong track record running 67 global YouTube channels and is a valuable new destination for producers to help them gain global prominence for their programming. Content is licensed on a non-exclusive basis and will earn income from a well-designed revenue-sharing model.

Mikael Shields, CEO of Acamar Films said:

“We believe that by working collectively with our peer-producers, we can create a global channel destination that increases both the prominence and revenues for gentler, values-driven programming. We also believe that launching Again! Again! now is a constructive answer to the challenging global media environment, as well as to the needs of our young audience for well-curated, age-appropriate programming. The volume and quality of our programme submissions suggests that our international colleagues agree. Again! Again! supports both the ‘finding’ and ‘funding’ of high-quality children’s programming for the future. We’re already in partnership conversations to extend the channel into a broader range of global languages.”

Acamar has launched over 67 YouTube channels to date globally, across 33 languages, in over 130 territories featuring only gentle educationally-led age-appropriate programming. Engagement across the channel network has now reached 1.3 million hours of viewing each day. Acamar has developed the channel management infrastructure and expertise to ensure discoverability for programmes chosen for Again! Again! and to build engagement for the new channel, building on its success with existing Bing YouTube channels.
