Outfit7 is expanding the Talking Tom house with coordinated updates across two of its leading mobile titles, My Talking Tom Friends and My Talking Tom 2, redesigning some of the franchise’s most familiar spaces to enhance player interaction.
For the first time in the franchise’s history, the Friends’ home is no longer a single-story space. The latest update adds a second floor, allowing players to move freely between levels and changing how daily routines unfold.
The new upstairs area includes:
Bedroom & Wardrobe: A relocated space that gives players more room to customize character looks and mix and match outfits.
New Flow: The bathroom has been moved upstairs, completely reshaping the home’s layout.
Environmental Controls: Downstairs, players can now interact with the environment in new ways, including the ability to change the weather in the garden and other outdoor areas.
This expansion marks Part 1 of a broader rollout, with further updates planned for the summer.
New Interactive Gameplay in My Talking Tom 2
Parallel to the architectural expansion, My Talking Tom 2 is focusing on depth of gameplay. The bathroom area has been updated with new step-by-step care mini-games built around structured progression.
Each scenario features a visible “cure meter” that tracks progress in real-time, balancing accessible interactions with more involved tasks. New activities include:
Dental Care: Cleaning, polishing teeth, and solving puzzles.
Medical Care: Treating broken bones, guiding Tom through flu recovery, and relieving stomach aches through input-based gameplay.
Playful Interactions: After recovery, players can experiment with a “carousel” of consumable items, from plungers and “toilet fishing” to surprise floods.
A newly introduced Bathroom Cabinet shop has also been added to keep items easily accessible during these dynamic gameplay moments.
