This month, Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Moonbug celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday by releasing two digital episodes featuring Blippi and The Cat in the Hat.
The event, which kicked off on February 27th, served as more than just entertainment; it was a vibrant celebration of literacy under the theme “Read Today for Their Tomorrow.” This collaboration followed the massive success of December’s Grinch x Blippi crossover, which garnered over 16 million views.
Two Channels, Two Unique Adventures
Fans who tuned in late February were treated to two distinct storylines across the Blippi and Dr. Seuss YouTube channels:
Blippi Meets The Cat in the Hat (Blippi Channel): In this adventure, Blippi and Meekah faced science fair hurdles—a fizzling volcano and a stalled toy car—until the Cat in the Hat arrived to save the day with Seussian ingenuity.
The Cat in the Hat’s Birthday Surprise (Dr. Seuss Channel): This episode turned the tables on Blippi and Meekah. What they thought was a surprise party for the Cat became a whimsical scavenger hunt filled with songs, dances, and “Seussian sparkle,” alongside Tizzie and Ziggy.
