[BLE – Exclusive Interview] A Talk with Textiss

As Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) 2025 approaches, we sat down with Christophe Landais, Licensing Director at Textiss, based in France.

Why should retailers and manufacturers visit your stand at BLE?

Visiting our booth means discovering exclusive collections and innovative concepts designed to inspire new collaboration opportunities and expand your product ranges. Here, retailers and manufacturers can explore high-potential licenses aligned with current trends and consumer demand, while connecting directly with our team to build strategic partnerships and develop high-value projects together. Our brands stand out with their unique identity and exclusive collaborations, giving you first access to exciting business opportunities.

Which brand will be your main focus at this year’s event?

At this year’s event, our main focus will be on a selection of standout properties and brands, including Pierre Cardin, CAPSLAB and its co-branding projects, FREEGUN and co-branding initiatives, as well as KTM and Black + Decker.

What are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing licensing in 2025/2026?

In 2025/2026, licensing will face both significant challenges and exciting opportunities. On the one hand, market saturation makes it harder for brands to stand out, while rapidly changing consumer trends, especially in digital and youth-focused content, require precise timing and agility. Counterfeiting and IP protection continue to pose risks, and the growing demand for sustainability and social responsibility adds further complexity to licensed production. On the other hand, collaborations and co-branding offer powerful ways to engage new audiences and amplify brand impact, while expanding into international markets, particularly in Asia and Latin America, presents strong growth opportunities for the global licensing industry.
