Bringing together visionary talent and industry leaders, Waka Studio is a game development company dedicated to innovate and explore animation and character design in today’s creative landscape.
Waka Studio originated from a small toy tech studio founded by Pisorn and Jirawat Chungviwatanant, following the remarkable success of their Spica Bear Plushie. Now, with a comprehensive suite of assets, including IP rights, character design, and captivating animations, the company aims to foster connections, encourage fruitful collaborations, and provide access to a wealth of creativity and talent.
Their portfolio includes playful characters that feature a compelling visual style. Each one – from the moody Angry Nurse to the shy but talented Penny the Panda and the vibrant CabCab the Capybara, embodying fun and relaxation – is thoughtfully crafted to showcase unique traits and abilities that resonate with players.
In their flagship project, RunOut Game and Animation, players are introduced to a whimsical world where anthropomorphic animals navigate challenges to find the legendary Spica Bear, a figure of hope amid adversity. The journey of Ottbee, a curious young otter, and Salmo, a salmon who can’t swim, reflects themes of friendship and resilience as they confront the villain Uncle Alpaco’s scheming.
This enchanting narrative, paired with a diverse cast of characters, engages players in a memorable gaming experience as they strategize to outsmart opponents and achieve their goals. Additionally, the animation adaptation of RunOut is launching on June 25, 2025, and is expected to attract 1 million views per month.
RunOut’s lineup of characters leverages vibrant and diverse animal personas, each infused with unique traits that resonate with a broad audience. Their appealing visual style is set to engage children as well as teens and young adults, making them ideal for developing various merchandise. Catering to the shareable nature of social media, the incorporation of bold colors and distinctive styles ensures that each character is memorable and relatable while also reinforcing a strong emotional connection with fans.
In terms of branding and expansion strategy, Waka Studio is keenly focused on reaching a diverse audience through thoughtful licensing and innovative product offerings. Targeting children ages 6-12 and young adults up to 30, the brand aims to cater multiple consumer segments with plush toys, stationery, and gaming accessories in different styles – 2D Comic or Cute style, 3D model art toys, icons, and multiple patterns.

As a hub for creativity and collaboration, the studio is now actively seeking connections with manufacturers, retail partners, distributors, and potential partners who share their passion for bringing unique ideas to life.
