DeAPlaneta Entertainment has announced that Pol Benedí has joined the company’s Kids & Family Division as Head of Franchise & Marketing, starting in his new position on April 2.

Pol Benedí has worked for several years on the creation of the Barça Licensing & Merchandising division at Football Club Barcelona, having consolidated the Barça brand internationally inside the world of Licensing. As Head of Franchise & Marketing at the Kids & Family division of DeAPlaneta Entertainment, he will work towards the consolidation of the company’s IPs in this area.

About this appointment, Pol Benedí has stated: “It is an honor to join this team at DeAPlaneta Entertainment, Europe’s leading company in entertainment for kids and families. I look forward to bringing all my experience acquired in the Licensing world to the Kids & Family division to consolidate, expand and launch established brands such as MILO and future hits such as Hero Inside or Magic Lilly. I’m very excited to join a team that really enjoys what they do!”. Pol Benedí’s new position was previously held by Luisa Ramírez.

Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, Chief Brand Officer at DeAPlaneta Kids & Family, added: “Despite his youth, Pol has an extensive experience in branding and consumer products, having recently played an important role in the licensing department at FC Barcelona. Pol has been very close to both license & retail companies as well as the fans themselves, which makes him ideal for this responsibility at DeAPlaneta Entertainment, where consumers are a priority.
