MILO’S EASTER EGG BY DOLCI PREZIOSI ARRIVES IN SUPERMARKETS ACROSS ITALY

DeAPlaneta has announced that the Italian fans of Milo, the beloved and successful award-winning pre-school series co-produced by DeAPlaneta Entertainment and Fourth Wall, will be able to enjoy next Easter of  Milo‘s first seasonal product in Italy: Milo’s Easter Egg, by Dolci Preziosi.

Milo’s Easter Egg includes fantastic surprises for all the fans of the show, wrapped in the finest and most exquisite milk chocolate by Dolci Preziosi. The 150 grs. milk chocolate egg inspired by Milo holds two different surprises: a special set of finger puppets depicting the main characters of the series, Milo, Lofty and Lark, and an exclusive kit of coloured clay and special stickers. This is the first seasonal product of Milo in Italy, and it will be on sale in mass distribution, being available during Easter in all Italian supermarkets.

The first season of Milo,  consisting of 52 episodes of 11 minutes each, is already broadcasting successfully in Italy on Rai Yoyo and always available on Rai Play (also in English), while 8 episodes translated into sign language and accompanied by audio description are available on the VOD platform TIM Vision.

Milo, which is already broadcasted on more than 170 countries and has been dubbed into more than 20 languages, is an animated series for preschool audiences with a bright, colourful look that brings a very contemporary graphic style to young children. Accompanied by his good friends Lofty and Lark, Milo uses role play to explore the wonderful world of vocations – from doctors and mechanics, to hairdressers, chefs and postal workers, introducing pre-schoolers to a variety of professions in a positive, fun way.

The series’ underlying message is that all jobs are AMAZING. The quality of the animation and relevance of its message helped Milo win the prize to Best Children’s series at the prestigious British Animation Awards in 2022, and Bronze at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards that same year.

This year, Milo was one of the finalists in the Best International Animated Series category at 2024 British Animation Awards. DeAPlaneta Entertainment launched recently the official App of Milo, which is currently available worldwide in five languages: Spanish, Italian, English, French and Portuguese. In addition, the German version will be launching shortly to coincide with the release of Milo on Super RTL in March 2024.

Season two of this successful award-winning pre-school animated show premiered recently in UK and will be released worldwide in Fall 2024. Milo is produced by Fourth Wall and DeAPlaneta Entertainment, an industry-leading European entertainment company.

The production was backed by the UK government-funded Young Audiences Content Fund, managed by the BFI, which fosters the development of distinctive, high-quality content for young audiences. The fund is intended to create content that informs our understanding of the world and stimulates knowledge and learning, while representing diversity and alternative viewpoints.
