Tween Team agency and Pon Pon Edizioni have secured a multi-year agreement to publish Nebulous Stars’ books and magazine in Italy, as well as to create new formats such as activity books, illustrated books, interactive diaries and more.
Based on the characters of the well-known lifestyle brand Nebulous Stars, the books were first launched in Canada by Groupe Homme in 2020. Since then, this multi- bestseller book series is drawing the attention of many publishers around the world. In 2023, a multi-year agreement was signed with Hachette Jeunesse for the French version and Anaya Group for the Spanish version. Pon Pon Edizioni is now Tween Team’s fourth publishing partner.
Nebulous Stars has sold more than 12 million units worldwide since its launch 7 years ago. It’s been attracting kids aged 6 to 10 years old, thanks to its wide range of products (including sketchbooks, dolls, creative DIY sets, cosmetics, and more), the beautiful illustrations and aesthetic, and its unique proposition value.
Encouraging self-esteem and personal development, Nebulous Stars products and stories convey positive messages and advice about friendship, emotions, body and mind.
Caroline Trudeau, marketing and publishing director at Tween Team Agency said : “Leader in the segment of children publishing, Pon Pon Edizioni has proven its expertise in creating engaging content and building strong brand awareness. Their knowledge of the Italian publishing market combined with their passion for our brand, make them the perfect partner.”
Jessica Cireddu, publisher at Pon Pon Edizioni said : “Pon Pon is really excited to start this new collaboration with Tween Team. When we read the Nebulous Stars novelties and saw the amazing and shiny illustrations, it was a love at first sight.”
The first books are planned to be launch in Fall 2024. Each book, with more than 20 original illustrations, focusses on one Nebulous Stars’ character and teaches positive lessons. Although they live in a fantastic world nestled among the stars, the characters in this series live adventures that all young readers can relate to.
The magazine, which will also be released this year, is unlike anything else currently on the market. Throughout its 40 pages, it offers simple creative projects to do at home, new stories featuring the Nebulous Stars’ characters, advice on managing your emotions, games, colouring activities, relaxation exercises, and more.
Nebulous Stars is a kids and parents approved Canadian brand with a product line sold in over 70 countries.
