Maria Giovanna Gurrieri has joined IBC to lead the international growth of the Lugano-based company.
Maria Giovanna Gurrieri has joined IBC earlier this year, taking on a key role in the strategic licensing consultancy founded in 2013 in Lugano. With her appointment, IBC is preparing for a phase of strong international growth, further enriching its expertise in the licensing sector.
“I can only express my sincerest joy in welcoming Maria Giovanna Gurrieri. Thanks to her experience and strategic vision, IBC opens up to a new phase of development and will be able to expand the reach of its projects to new scenarios. Her contribution will certainly be significant and distinctive for IBC,” says Elisabetta Treggiari, who has been at the head of the company since 2016. “The organisation today has offices and partners in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, New York, Detroit and Dubai, but thanks to Maria Giovanna we have an unprecedented opportunity to expand the boundaries of our projects globally and give them the right depth.“
Speaking about her new professional adventure, Maria Giovanna Gurrieri says: “I have been fascinated by the clients and brand strategy projects currently underway at IBC. Clients include, for example, the Getty Museum in Los Angeles with its Irises by van Gogh, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan and its Codex Atlanticus by Leonardo da Vinci, and the New York Public Library.
The choice of Licensors, the selection of licensees and the research into the various projects, all reflect the innovative and sophisticated approach with which the Brands are treated. I see this challenge as a natural evolution of my career path.“
