All3Media International has announced the launch of a brand-new Catchphrase app, as it continues to build on the successful off-screen activation of its iconic entertainment brands.
A hit prime time game show format created by Pasetta Productions Inc and Steven Radosh, and now delivering huge audiences through the STV Studios production for ITV/STV, Catchphrase continues to prove its evergreen credentials with this mobile game, in addition to the recent launch of a board game and card game based on the show. Created in partnership with Two Way Media, the game developer behind the popular Lingo app which has 1.7 million players to date, the Catchphrase app is now available in the UK on iOS and Android to download here.
The app offers players the chance to put their skills to the test and identify familiar catchphrases straight from the ITV/STV show. Featuring the show’s mascot Mr Chips, players are presented with challenges to complete and targets to aim for, as well as more rewards and prizes.
On screen, Catchphrase has remained a firm family favourite for over 30 years, with STV Studios’ Celebrity Catchphrase cemented as a tentpole series for ITV and STV. Peaking with 4.2m viewers, series 8 currently ranks as one of ITV and STVs top ten non-scripted series of 2023 so far, with a ninth series expected to air this year and a tenth recently filmed.
