Studio 100 announces the launch of a non-spoken educational 2D-animation series of ‘Nurdys’.
Nurdys a set of 58 recognizanle fun and appealing animals premieres on streaming and tv platforms in Belgium and the Netherlands. The series brings color and fun to the world of young children.
Dreamdeals
The 39 x 6 minute series for for children aged 0 to 5 enters Belgium on the online platforms such as VTM GO, Streamz and the Studio 100 GO Pass, and in French speaking Belgium on the channel Club RTL. Later this month, the series will be released with several Dutch media partners in the Netherlands such as the Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO Zappelin, KPN, RTL Videoland and Vodaphone Ziggo. Later this year, ‘nurdys’ will be available worldwide on YouTube.
About the series
Each episode is a compilation of short items that integrates familiar elements from the real world, such as shapes (circle, square and rectangle) and concepts like big & small, stacking & building, front & back, and more. These recognizable elements stimulate the learning process of toddlers and make the experience of “nurdys” both fun and educational.
Creator & collaboration
Nurdys is the original idea of Dutch designer Ellen Langendam. Studio 100 developed this series in collaboration with her.
