On 21 and 22 June BRANDmate will open its doors for the second time and call together for networking in Offenbach.
The cross-industry event for brand cooperation, partnerships and licensing sees itself as a business partner exchange with long-term added value and brings companies and brands together with potential collaboration partners.
After the positive response to last year’s launch event and intensive preparations in recent months, Eva Stemmer, founder and CEO of BRANDmate GmbH, is full of anticipation: “We will be more colourful and diverse and offer brands even more opportunities to showcase their values, DNA and collaborative spirit at BRANDmate“.

The exhibitors at the second B2B networking event for cooperations and licensing promise plenty of variety and action: internationally renowned companies such as Warner Bros, NBCU,
Paramount, Mattel or Hasbro, German-language entertainment flagships such as Super RTL, WDR mediagroup or rbb, the football clubs BVB and Eintracht Frankfurt, the esport club Eintracht Spandau and well-known publishers such as Burda Licensing, the Jahreszeiten Verlag and Carlsen Verlag will present their portfolios in Offenbach. Heunec, Schleich and Promotion Pets round off the exhibitor portfolio from the toy industry. Numerous brands from the food & beverage and home & living sectors will also be taking a look into the pots at BRANDmate this year: Viva con Aqua, Jokolade, g-l-a-m, Burda Licensing, KoRo Source, Trend Nonfood, koziol, Mr. Mister and HSP with the Carrera brand are among those with a showroom on site.
The Johann Lafer pop-up cafe by torrefaktum, Gustavo Gusto and the Peppa Pig food truck will provide on-site catering. Traeger Grill will provide additional grilled treats for lunch on Wednesday. Cold drinks will be available at the Dungeons & Dragons Tavern, Bruno Gelato will be serving ice cream, and those who would like to try the new licensed PEZ ice cream can do so at BRANDmate. Wacken baker and baker of the year Axel Schmitt will be presenting himself in the show kitchen.
The supporting programme: Impetus, knowledge, inspiration
A variety of highly qualified speakers will share their know-how on several stages. On the /Imagine speaker stage, competent experts from a wide range of fields will provide input that is often neglected in daily business. Visionary thinkers, successful entrepreneurs, out-of-the-box enthusiasts and business evils will give new impulses with their presentations. Among the speakers will be Carolin Stüdemann (Managing Director of Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V.), Jakob Neise (Co-CEO and Co-Founder PLAY THE HYPE), Linda Häusler (Senior Project Manager, Podstars by OMR), Johann Lafer (Chef, Brand and Brand Ambassador) and Sven Göth (Business Futurist & Keynote Speaker, CEO Futuriser).
Experienced specialists will give exciting insights into their work on the speaker stage: companies and personalities will share relevant insights and concrete examples from their service sector and pass on learnings with real added value for their own business to the audience. Daniel Pammé (Managing Director KoRo Source), Markus Utomo (Toy and Educational Designer, AI expert), Miriam Gistel (HR Consultant, truffls GmbH) and Peter Stein (Director Business Development Gameforge 4D, presented by Licensing International) will be among the speakers on the /Impuls stage.
Workshops in the “Alte Säge” provide the opportunity for a deep dive, where concentrated insights and more personal discussions take place in small groups. For example, patent attorney Christian Fortmann (Fortmann Tegethoff, Patent- & Rechtsanwälte) will participate with a workshop on “Brave new (digital) world – NFT, Metaverse and ChatGPT: The legal side”.
A novelty this year: as a BRANDmate partner, Spielwarenmesse eG will host the “BRANDmate Podcast Lounge”, where numerous other formats will be recorded live on site in addition to the BRANDmates Podcast and the Spielwarenmesse Podcast: Studio 100, the Simba Dickie Group and KB&B will be there, as well as Podstars by OMR, the makers of the successful audio format “TOMorrow”.
Retailers are welcome!
Discounted retailer tickets, exciting speakers with retail-relevant keynotes as well as the Zeitgeist Gallery, where digitalised stationary trade, POS systems and smart displays for combined online and offline experiences, interactive advice and product presentation will be shown, offer many exciting show cases, impulses, inspiration and know-how this year, especially for retailers. Servet Tuncaloglu, CEO of Trend Nonfood GmbH, manages and curates the Zeitgeist Gallery as a retail and retail expert and puts it in a nutshell: “No future for retail without experience and emotionalisation“.
