In Germany, an exclusive line of ceramics and giftware from DTR has launched with bookseller Thalia; Miles is developing a set of lunchware exclusively for Aldi and Hofer; Promotion Pets has a new deal for products being developed for the animated series shown on Kika. Bekker and Blitz will be expanding Benelux offerings.
In North America, Kids Preferred has new products including a GHMILY My First Storytime Set (summer 2023) and line of wooden toys. Hatley has a new color-wave for their Books to Bed sleep sets, and Boxine has additional distribution and support for Toniebox products. Clothworks, Storiarts, and Carousel Calendars contracts were renewed.
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
Australian licensing agent Merchantwise is partnering with Walker Productions and Lupus Films, the production team behind the animated series. The Walker Group has partnered with the Jeep® brand through creative agency Cummins and Partners in Australia and Highdive Advertising US on a television advertising campaign. Leeds Hospitals Charity in partnership with Wild in Art and Walker Productions/Lupus Films will host a live event this summer with giant bear sculptures based on the book placed throughout Leeds, forming a family-friendly discovery trail; the bears will come together in Millennium Square for a farewell event and live auction.
