BLUE OCEAN ENTERTAINMENT OPENS A SUBSIDIARY IN ITALY

28 Mar - 2023

Tags from the story: Blue Ocean Entertainment AG.

Blue Ocean Entertainment AG continues to grow: the Stuttgart-based publisher – market leader for children’s magazines in Europe – has now also founded a subsidiary in Italy.

The first magazines will be published in early 2024. In addition to the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and after starting its own publishing activities in Spain, Portugal, France, Poland, Romania and Hungary, Italy is the tenth country in which the Blue Ocean Entertainment Group itself becomes active as a publisher. The Italian branch has been established after a detailed analysis of the local market and an open-ended assessment of the situation with the aim of further optimizing the Burda company’s foreign business in the key European markets for children’s media.

The management of Blue Ocean Italia will be taken over by Tony Verdini, an experienced publishing manager and business developer. He most recently worked for Panini for more than twenty years, responsible for marketing, sales and business development.

The final portfolio 2024 of Blue Ocean Italia will be defined in the coming weeks and months. It is already clear that the successful LEGO magazine family will be part of the initial program.

Blue Ocean Italia is headquartered in Arezzo, Tuscany. It is the second Italian location of the Blue Ocean Group in addition to the existing office in Turin for the acquisition and execution of loyalty campaigns in Italy.
