Naturally Tribal Skincare Limited is getting ready to debut their ‘Clean & Soft’ body and hair sets under their ‘Naturally Tiwa’ brand alongside the PAW Patrol pups.
The new range is based on characters from the popular animated TV series for pre-schoolers, created by Spin Master Entertainment and airing on Nickelodeon. The ‘Clean & Soft’ sets will launch in the spring, following a licensing agreement with the leading media and entertainment company, Paramount, in the UK.
Pharmacist Shalom Lloyd from Milton Keynes started Naturally Tribal Skincare in 2014, after giving birth to twins. Almost instantly her son, Joshua, suffered extreme eczema and itchy irritation. Shalom couldn’t bear the idea of smothering his sensitive skin with chemicals and steroids. Instead, she developed a synthetic chemical free range to manage her son’s skin, naturally.
“A unique opportunity to work with the global powerhouse that is Paramount and build a PAW Patrol range through the licensing of the PAW Patrol asset for use in conjunction with Naturally Tribal Products is a gamechanger for the brand“, says Shalom.
1 in 5 children in the UK suffer with a skin condition and the NHS spends £700 million per annum on skin conditions. The Clean & Soft sets address a gap in the market and offer a selection of natural products suitable not only for parents looking to manage their children’s skin conditions naturally, but also parents who want to use products that nurture their children’s skin using the power of nature.
The Clean & Soft Skin, Clean & Soft Hair and Clean & Soft Starter kits combine value, education and fun, allowing parents to confidently use the products during bath time, encouraging washing in a fun way whilst helping protect children’s skin – doing all of this whilst hugging the planet, loving nature and building a community.
Naturally Tribals Head of Marketing, Hannah White, said, “This is a significant step towards our growth journey! This unique opportunity brings together innovative multiple partners who together have combined our brand, PAW Patrol, and technology in collaboration with the Milton Keynes College the Institute of Technology (IoT). This seamless relationship has been instrumental in putting something special into the market that appeals to children, parents and all PAW Patrol fans. We are excited to be working with Paramount to launch our proudly ‘Made In Britain’ luxury sustainable natural skincare products into the market.
“We are delighted to be partnering with an inventive and ethical organisation like Naturally Tribal,” said Venetia Davie, Vice President, Consumer Products, UK & Ireland at Paramount. “It’s gratifying to work with a partner that genuinely thinks about every element of their process to ensure they’re making a difference – be that through their supply chain, or the people they’re working with. We’re extremely happy to be part of their journey“.
Michelle Lockwood, Operations Manager: The South Central Institute of Technology (ScIoT), Milton Keynes College, said, “We are delighted to be collaborating on this project with Naturally Tribal Skincare and Paramount. This live brief is a fantastic opportunity for learners on our Games and Animation pathway to experience work on an industry led brief, have their work showcased to a huge potential market and build links for the future“.
