Lion Forge Animation has signed All American Licensing & Management Group, LLC (AAL) as the exclusive North American agency to develop a comprehensive portfolio of products tied to Iyanu: Child of Wonder.
The coming-of-age animation series is based on the acclaimed graphic novel from Nigerian creator Roye Okupe and will premiere on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
The epic superhero tale is steeped in Nigeria’s rich culture, music, and mythology, Iyanu: Child of Wonder follows a teenage heroine who must uncover the mystery behind her newfound powers to save her people from an ancient curse threatening to destroy humanity.
AAL will be pursuing licensing deals across all categories including toys, games, collectibles, apparel, accessories, dolls, costumes, digital games, back to school, confections, among other products.
