PRIME ENTERTAINMENT GROUP JOINS KIDSCREEN SUMMIT 2023

Prime Entertainment Group will be joining this year’s Kidscreen Summit with a variety of animated kids’ series, including its critically acclaimed Runes.

The show Runes (26 x 22 minutes – Canal Plus & ZDF) follows 12-year-old William, heir to the throne of Normandy. After the death of his father, William seeks refuge in the village of Baligan, incognito as a peasant boy called Hugo. After stumbling upon a cave, he discovers ancient runes that unleash a mysterious magic and a terrible threat, Loki, God of chaos. The series is produced by Prime’s sister company, Les Armateurs, creators of the internationally acclaimed cult classics, Kirikou and the Sorceress and The Triplets of Belleville.
BellysaurusTheir selection will also feature new episodes of Ariol (41 x 12 minutes), another great success on Canal Plus France both in terms of ratings and critics, as well as Vanille, a Carribean Tale (1 x 32 minutes), Looking for Santa (1 x 26 minutes) and Bellysaurus (1 x 8 minutes), a non-dialogue film about a tiny dinosaur dreaming of becoming big and scary.
These 3 programs received multiple awards and nominations at international festivals, and inked deals across the world as Looking for Santa was acquired by Rai (Italy) and RTHK (Hong Kong), and Vanille by Kika (Germany) and NHK (Japan).
