The film Dampyr, coming out at the cinema, and the animated series Dragonero, coming on Rai channels, were premiered at Lucca Comics & Games. Great expectations for the two highly anticipated projects of Bonelli Entertainment.

Bonelli Entertainment, the production arm of the comic book publisher Sergio Bonelli Editore, officially debuts on the market with its first two in-house productions: the film Dampyr out to the cinema and the animated series Dragonero. The Paladins arriving on Rai channels. The official previews were screened for both productions at Lucca Comics & Games 2022.

On the opening night of Lucca Comics & Games was screened in world premiere fantasy action DAMPYR, first work of Riccardo Chemello, a co-production Eagle Pictures, Sergio Bonelli Editore and Brandon Box. Distributed by Eagle Pictures, DAMPYR was released in Italian cinemas on 28 October, simultaneously with the world premiere with cast at the Cinema Astra broadcast live from the Red Carpet of Lucca. Shot entirely in English, DAMPYR is an impressive production and a cast that includes Wade Briggs, Stuart Martin, Frida Gustavsson, David Morrissey, Sebastian Croft and Luke Roberts. In the afternoon of October 29, a meeting was held with the protagonists at the Teatro del Giglio.

Also on 29 October, at the Teatro del Giglio, but in the morning, the first four episodes of the animated series Dragonero were presented in world premiere. The Paladins, from the successful comic created by Luca Enoch and Stefano Vietti. An international co-production by Sergio Bonelli Editore together with Rai Kids, PowerKids and NexusTV. In addition to the preview, a series of events dedicated to the world of Dragonero has transformed the city into a great party, full of attractions, events and impact installations distributed in places symbol of Lucca to celebrate the historic debut of Bonelli in the animation sector and tell backstage and behind the scenes of an animated production that involved thousands of people in an exciting productive and creative effort.

The new brand and the Logo Animation that will precede the audiovisual productions of Bonelli Entertainment are the work of Sincromie, the all-Italian digital factory that has been able to interpret the incredible variety of genres that has always distinguished the Bonelli comics, ready now to debut even on the big and small screen, always in the sign of respect for the characters and their stories.

Among other projects under development for Bonelli Entertainment, also the long-awaited live-action dedicated to Dylan Dog in a co-production with James Wan’s Atomic Monster.
