Jewel Branding & Licensing is thrilled to announce its global licensing representation of Amber Vittoria, an artist and poet based in New York City.
Through ribbons of color and poetry, her work is focused on expressions of emotion and the female form. Vittoria’s work has been acquired by collectors worldwide and featured in notable collaborations with Warby Parker, Adidas, Le Bon Marche, Instagram, Facebook, and other high-profile brands. With each collaboration, Amber’s storytelling on a product is as vibrant as the artwork itself.
Taking advantage of the fluidity of her ink, color pencil and acrylic paints, Vittoria creates aqueous rainbow gradients that dominate her compositions. Punctuated by simple graphite line drawings and impactful words, her work draws on her relationship to femininity, emotion and societal expectations. She allows her growing audience on social media (176K followers) to experience her process with posts and videos that show her creative process.
Amber’s upcoming book These Are My Big Girl Pants, launching next year from Andrews McMeel, depicts the complexities and nuances of being a woman in this world and embraces womanhood and all of its inherent intricacies. A celebration of femininity and the female body, These Are My Big Girl Pants leverages naïve artistic approaches, like simple line and brush strokes, against deep and meaningful poetry and prose, creating a true exploration of individuality, female empowerment, and emotion.
“We’ve been long-time fans of Amber and her bold, colorful and modern designs,” said Beth Hooker, VP Licensing at Jewel. “She’s had some amazing collaborations and we’re looking forward to building on that success to further extend her brand and unique point of view through licensing.”
Amber adds, ““I am so thrilled to be working with Jewel to expand the reach of my work to new folks who may love it as much as I do.”
Amber Vittoria is available for licensing globally in health & fitness, apparel, accessories, home décor, paper products, and other categories.
