Perkins® Restaurant & Bakery has partnered with White Coffee Corporation, renowned roaster and blender of fine coffees, to develop Perkins-branded ground coffee bags, single-serve pods and ready-to-drink coffee.
The line of coffees will include Perkins House Blend and Chocolate Pecan Pie, which will be available year-round, as well as. Perkins Pumpkin Pie, which will be offered during the harvest season to coincide with the Perkins menu. For the first time, consumers can enjoy the delicious taste of the restaurant’s trademarked Bottomless Pot of Coffee® and flavors inspired by the beloved fresh-baked pies in the comfort of their own homes, offices and on-the-go.
“The partnership with White Coffee will allow the beloved dining establishment’s customers to enjoy delicious coffees at home and recreate the comfort and satisfaction they know from their experiences in the restaurants,” says Jonathan White, Executive Vice President of White Coffee.
“We’re excited to enter into this partnership with White Coffee and look forward to bringing the classic Perkins cup of coffee to retail locations, while also developing new flavors that Perkins fans will savor,” said Nathan Ballard, Chief Supply Chain Officer of Ascent Hospitality Management, parent company of Perkins.
Perkins coffee is made with 100% premium Arabica beans, medium-bodied roast with intense, rich notes, flavorful taste, and strong aroma. White Coffee will introduce the eagerly anticipated coffee line for first quarter of 2023, through various retailers across food and mass markets.
Beanstalk, Perkins global brand extension licensing agency, brokered this partnership. The new line of coffee products celebrates the inaugural deal for the Perkins licensing program.
“Beanstalk is delighted to launch the Perkins licensing program with a freshly brewed line of products with White Coffee,” says Frances Alvarez, VP, Brand Management at Beanstalk. “This partnership serves as a strong entrance for the iconic restaurant brand into licensing.”
The global brand extension agency plans to grow the Perkins program to include additional food categories that tie back to the menu’s core offerings and signature flavors. Food categories available for licensing in the U.S. include frozen and fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees, baked goods and desserts, and snacks.
