The Rocky Horror Show’s licensing programme, represented by Golden Goose, is gathering serious momentum with new licensees and new international agency representatives signed up in advance of the show’s 50th anniversary.

New licensees include Dress up (Smiffy’s) and Illustrated Comic Books (Dark Horse) and categories in development include apparel, figurines, pinball and slot machines.

Given the strength of the characters and the obvious love for the musical from generations of fans, it’s now time for Rocky Horror Show licensed products to take centre stage,” said Golden Goose Director, Adam Bass.

Andy Leighton, the show’s Music Publisher added “It’s exciting to have these phenomenal new partners on board. The international fanbase is definitely hungry for products that hit the brand’s sweet spot.

Rebeckah Dalton, Golden Goose’s Product Director is gearing up for a raft of approvals: “We are developing a stunning new style guide that will establish The Rocky Horror Show as a force to be reckoned with for the 50th anniversary and many years to come.

Understandably, since the show has appeared in 30 countries and been translated into 20 languages; International sub-agencies have shown considerable interest with The Sharpe Company (USA), The Dot Collective (Australia and New Zealand) and Joon International (South Korea) all in play.

Licensees looking to come on board should visit the Golden Goose stand #C250 at the upcoming Brand Licensing Europe.
