DeAPlaneta Entertainment signs its first licensing agreement with MOM Fun Company, after becoming the global licensing agent for the hit kids series. Mom Fun Company will launch a line of Gus, the Itsy Bitsy Knight costumes and accessories in February 2023 in time for the Carnival festivities.
Next year, it’s going to be much more entertaining to dress up as a dragon, a unicorn, troll, princess or knight, thanks to MOM Fun Company, who are set to launch the first line of GUS, the Itsy Bitsy Knight costumes, in time for Carnival. This is the first deal under DeaPlaneta Entertainment’s new global licensing contract for the kids brand.
The MOM Fun Company collection of costumes and accessories will be distributed in Spain, Andorra and Portugal in February 2023.
Gus, the Itsy Bitsy Knight (52×11) is a CGI animated series for 4-7 year olds. Produced by French studio Technicolor Animation Productions in association with PGS Entertainment, the project already has two seasons and 20 episodes with exclusive content under its belt.
The series is currently being broadcast in the UK (Tiny Pop), Italy (DeAKids), Portugal (Canal Panda, RTP), China (Uyoung Culture & Media), Africa (Showmax), Slovakia (IFC Media), New Zealand (TV New Zealand), France (TF1), Norway (NRK), Hungary (MTVA), Poland (Teletoon +, Minimini+ and TV Puls), Mexico (Televisa), LATAM (HBO Max, Cartoonito), Iceland (Myndform) and Canada (Knowledge Network & Radio Canada). In Spain, the series launched on RTVE Clan TV on 9 May, and has achieved audience figures on a par with major hits like Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol.
