The illustrator takes part in the most important event dedicated to brands in the kids, teen and young adult sector, which from this year will be held in the heart of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the fair where many of her characters originated, presenting the portfolio of new products for 2022 for the Nicoletta Costa Store and her characters
The Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids, the only international event dedicated to brands in the kids, teen and young adult sector, will be held in Bologna from 21 to 24 March 2022. The fair, organised by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, will be held in the spaces of Bologna Fiere, Hall 25, at the same time as the prestigious trade event dedicated to the global children’s and young adult publishing industry. Nicoletta Costa, the world-famous illustrator of children’s books, could not miss this event and will be present at the Fair, with her own stand – Hall 25 B31 – with the whole range of products of her e-commerce, but above all with the very latest novelties that will be launched during 2022. Amongst the new products by Nicoletta Costa are products such as: newborn pillows and sheets made with FABE Srl, a leading company in the sector, as well as the brand new NappiNess washable nappies, a practical and ecological alternative to disposable nappies, and the new collection of wooden toys entirely Made in Italy by Dida.
NappiNess is a brand that is careful to combine the needs of the little ones with those of the Earth, producing washable and therefore reusable nappies, thus providing new parents with a solution that is not only more environmentally friendly but also more economical. Giulio Coniglio, Nuvola Olga, Orso Blu and other sweet characters by Nicoletta Costa thus become the star pattern of Chameleon washable nappies.
Dida, a company founded in 2002 with a long experience in manufacturing didactic and educational toys, has developed a line of wooden educational toys, entirely MADE IN ITALY, inspired by the characters born from Nicoletta Costa’s imagination. We will therefore have toys, puzzles and educational aids with an original design, ideal for children from 2 to 7 years old and entirely dedicated to the colourful world of Nicoletta Costa. In addition to the toys, there will also be furnishing accessories, also in wood, to colour children’s bedrooms. Dida’s products will be launched on the market in the second half of 2022.

Nicoletta Costa, the illustrator who, since 1980, has enchanted generations of children with the characters born from her pen, is taking part in the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids with a dedicated stand to raise awareness of the universe of her characters and the products dedicated to them. From June 2021 the e-commerce Nicoletta Costa Store will be active: The site aims to be a point of reference for mothers, children and multigenerational fans of the illustrator who wish to make the wonder and joy of Nicoletta Costa’s world their own, buying dedicated products, from books and games to children’s clothing and gadgets such as mugs, notebooks and pins, without forgetting all the products dedicated to Nina&Olga, such as the series of books published by Mondadori – Libri per Ragazzi, together with the games of Ludattica. Nina & Olga is a successful series, regularly aired on Rai Yoyo with the cartoon “Nina & Olga”, the result of a co-production between Enanimation and Mondo TV Producciones Canarias S.L. – Nina Y Olga A.I.E. in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi.
