The World of Karma, the groundbreaking children’s animated series from creator Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, returns with a second season to be released on Netflix on 10 March. The first season premiered on Netflix in October 2021 in 190 countries and 22 languages, reaching the Top 10 on Netflix Kids in 42 countries and receiving nominations for three NAACP Awards in the US. The series boasts a rapidly expanding licensing programme with a range of consumer products from 35 licensees and includes global partnerships with Mattel, Scholastic and Universal Music.
The World of Karma is based on a concept created by award-winning American rapper, actor, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Fast and Furious Franchise, Fear Factor, Crash) and is the story of Karma Grant, an aspiring music artist and rapper with a big talent and an even bigger heart. Each episode is filled with hip-hop music, streetwear fashion, original choreography and her trademark sense of humour. The series focuses on themes of self-expression, identity, creativity and the importance of community. Season 2 introduces new characters, new locations and new themes, diving into topics such as body positivity, anxiety and social pressures.
