Tilting Point expands offering for mobile game partners, partnering with Xsolla to amplify options to include cross-platform play, alternative distribution methods and reach into new markets
Leading free-to-play games publisher Tilting Point has released the Tilting Point Launcher, bringing hit games from its mobile game portfolio to the web, to PC and to Mac. Through a partnership with Xsolla, Tilting Point can now offer its developer partners cross-platform play for their games, even more distribution methods, and the ability to reach all new markets. The Tilting Point Launcher is available now, with the first two games on the platform being the hits Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest and Operation: New Earth, both from developer Hunted Cow. Players can access the Titling Point Launcher at http://games.tiltingpoint.com/
“Our guiding principle at all times at Tilting Point is to accelerate and amplify developers’ businesses, and to do that, we are constantly looking for ways to expand across platforms, geographies and, ultimately, audiences,” said Tilting Point Co-CEO and president Samir Agili. “Partnering with Xsolla to be able to publish games to the web and to bring them to PC and Mac is a natural step in that evolution, and it brings us great joy to kick off this initiative with our longtime partners at Hunted Cow, who make incredible multiplayer strategy games that rival the best keyboard and mouse games on the market.”
Operation: New Earth is an intense sci-fi multiplayer strategy game in which players must command an advanced military facility to defend Earth from a hostile alien invasion. Players create alliances, gather resources, and unlock advanced technology to level up their strongholds. Co-developed by Tilting Point, Hunted Cow and Games Workshop, Warhammer: Chaos & Conquest is real-time massively multiplayer strategy game set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe, where players take on the role of a Chaos Lord, constructing temples, summoning daemonic troops, conquering kingdoms, building a fearsome empire and ruling with Chaos Champions. Players are able to conquer alone or with friends, forming powerful alliances and competing to determine who reigns supreme as the ultimate Chaos Lord.
“We at Hunted Cow are thrilled to have our two leading titles on this new and exciting platform. We have a long history of collaboration with Tilting Point and are excited to be part of this strategic step for both companies.” said Louisa Gallie, Creative Director at Hunted Cow.
Tilting Point has consistently accelerated success for mobile game developers, scaling their games through UA funding and management, app store optimization (ASO), ad monetization, platform deployment and more, then teaming up with existing partners to deepen relationships through co-development and M&A. Tilting Point’s recent acquisitions have included mobile games and assets from gambling technology software leader Playtech plc., including the San Diego-based FTX Games, hit titles Star Trek: Timelines and TerraGenesis, as well as LTV Tech Platform Gondola.
