Miss Bellyfoo is the new kids musical series by Foo Entertainment, that will be available from Summer 2022
Miss Bellyfoo is a new 3D animated series (26×22′, Age 3 to 10), that will be available from Summer 2022. It has been produced by the international creative team of Foo Entertainment AG, based in Switzerland, that comprises two hundred employees, with former designers from Disney and Pixar. The idea came from Chris Djuritschek, president and creative director of Foo Entertainment; the famous Hollywood award-winning scriptwriter, Jeffrey Scott, will carry out the development of the scripts for the first season.
Miss Bellyfoo TV Series originally combines fantasy with reality! It is the first animated series to take multi-ethnic and multi-cultural real kids from around the globe and transport them from their live-action world to the animated one of Daba Diba Duba Land, where they use musical skills (singing, dancing, and playing instruments) to interact with Miss Bellyfoo as an integral part of resolving the stories and defeating the evil Mastermoll. Miss Bellyfoo encourages children to believe in their talents and transmits the importance of bringing harmony thanks to the power of music. According to Swiss children’s researchers, the project is very relevant to society and a pedagogically very valuable new dimension for the entertainment business.
Foo entertainment is working to develop a 360° brand: in addition to the animated series, an online casting will allow children from all over the world to be directly involved. The style guides were recently presented at Brand Licensing Europe 2021, with two targets for the products: kids (apparel, electronic accessories as a smartwatch, musical instruments…) and premium, for young adults and families (t-shirts, oversize hoodies, family music game…).
Theme parks will also be born. The project Daba Diba Duba Land (DDDL) is an 80-100-hectare theme park resort located near the coast of Southern China: a magical, musical vacation destination for families with children ages 3 to 13. It recreates the franchise’s most iconic places IRL (in real life) and features its most beloved characters in person, in a collection of exciting rides and attractions. Every structure in Daba Diba Duba Land is made in the shape of musical instruments and symbols. DDDL offers a kid’s day camp-like “drop-off” experience called FooCamp, with intensive music instruction and an end-of-camp recital performance for family, friends, and the public! Another theme park venue will open in Albania.
