Counting five Pulcinella Awards Italy has received the most prizes followed by Brazil, Ireland and Sweden
The winners of the 25th edition of “Cartoons on the Bay“, the International Television and Crossmedia Animation and Children’s TV Festival promoted by Rai and organized by Rai Com with the artistic direction of Roberto Genovesi have been announced !
The Pulcinella Award for the Preschool TV Series catagory has been assigned to «The Game Catchers» (Rai Ragazzi, Studio Bozzetto), the Upper Preschool TV Series Award to «Nina & Olga» (Rai Ragazzi, Enanimation, Mondo TV Producciones Canarias) and the Kids TV Series Award to «Gigablaster» (Gloob, Copa Studio, Estricnina Desenhos Animados).
The Interactive Multimedia Works category Award has been assigned to «Little Nightmares II» (Tarsier Studios), the Live/Hybrid TV Series Award to «Whatsanna» (KidsMe srl), the TV Series Pilots category Award to «AquaTeam – Sea Adventure» (Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana, GraFFiti Creative) and in the category of short films the Award was assigned to «Mila» (Rai Ragazzi, Pixel Cartoon, IbiscusMedia (USA) – Cinesite (Canada) – Aniventure (UK)).
In the Feature Films section the Best Film Award was assigned to «The WolfWalkers» (Cartoon Saloon); the Best Film Direction Award to «Trash» (Al One srl), the Best Animation Award to «Absolute Denial» (Bridge Way Films, ABSOLUTE DENIAL FILMS LTD), the Best Script Award to «Felix and the Treasure of Morgäa» (10th Ave Productions), the Best Sound Track Award to Yaya and Lennie – The Walking Liberty (Mad Entertainment SPA, Rai Cinema SPA).

The 2021 CARTOONS ON THE BAY’s edition has seen Fusako Yusaki enter the Hall of Fame.
The UNICEF Award was assigned to the Swiss production Only A Child (Amka Films Productions).
