Starter collaborates with Pull&Bear, to develop Autumn/Winter 2021 range to celebrate the iconic sports brand’s 50th anniversary
Starter celebrates 50 years of the renowned ‘S-Star’ logo, continuing to provide strong and credible authenticity: Starter, Look for the Star!
To mark this momentous occasion, Iconix Europe LLC, the European arm of one of the world’s premier brand management companies Iconix Brand Group have teamed up with Inditex’s youth fashion brand, Pull&Bear, to present the Starter x Pull&Bear Autumn/Winter ‘21 capsule collection, honouring the famous sports brand’s 50th Anniversary.
It all began with an iconic star logo and the idea that “Every athlete dreams of being a starting player.” But Starter didn’t stop at athletes, extending across cultural lines, drawing influence from sport, music and pop culture.
This range has been created with the aim of combining streetwear with athleisure sportswear for a younger fashion forward demographic. A prominent two-tone theme runs throughout the collection, showcased with a two-tone denim jacket, a patchwork shirt and an oversized cardigan finished with a logo patch.
The centrepiece of the offering is the Starter classic varsity jacket, which has been updated with multiple embroidered Starter 50th anniversary logos patches.
Standout pieces include the tone-on-tone raincoat with an oversize fit; faux shearling in the form of a pull-over with a pouch pocket and a second version with a zip fastening which gives a nod to the latest trends. The collection also offers sweatshirt and jogging trouser co-ords, all of which feature pile embroidered logos.
To complete the look, Pull&Bear have developed a comprehensive selection of accessories, including baseball caps, beanies and socks.
The colour story features rich forest green, black and white tones, and each piece is produced in a variety of materials, volumes and textures.
