Following the release of the new movie MY LITTLE PONY: A NEW GENERATION, it’s PONY-MANIA everywhere.
For a whole month, the film has been the most followed content on the Netflix Kids platform in 86 countries. Sofia Carson’s Glowin’ Up soundtrack is now a hit on all music apps and the video has reached 1 million views on YouTube.
Also, a record-breaker on social media: the MLP trend on Tik Tok has reached 15 million views with a higher percentage of engagement.
Netflix also brought Sunny, Izzy and the rest of the crew to Milan, projecting a 3D music video on a giant billboard in the heard of the city, and coloring the Milanese streets with a My Little Pony branded food-truck.
Everybody talked about this phenomenal movie, even some of the most popular Italian influencers, as MurielXo, Miss Creamy, BabyCesca and Momokabanana with videos and special contents.
My Little Pony relaunch has just begun: the new characters will be back on Netflix with even more content – as a 44′ short movie planned for the next summer, and a brand-new TV series to be released next Fall 2022, and moving forward into 2023.
For YouTube fans, there is an exclusive Original content with 2D graphics, available in Italy next Spring.
As always, Hasbro’s magic lies in bringing its characters into children’s real lives. That’s why a new Toy line will be launched in early 2022 that will be fully aligned with the new MY LITTLE PONY content: new packs, character restyling and a complete new line of figurines, playsets and role plays with unprecedented interactivity.
