Having built The Day Henry Met…into a worldwide hit, with 4 seasons produced, on air in 192 countries, Monster is now enjoying success with some newer Irish animation (as well as some animation which isn’t Irish)
Pins and Nettie follows two shy hedgehogs as they try and learn about the world around them. It was developed by Daily Madness Productions and made its debut in April 2020 and it has already proved itself to b a smash hit. The series has been sold across the globe, with buyers including major broadcasters, like Kids Street in the US, YLE in Finland, DR in Denmark, ABC in Australia, TVO in Canada, Showmax in Africa, and popular streaming sites like Hopster and Minno. Early episodes of the series focused on how to remain positive during the COVID-19 Pandemic and in 2021 the series won Best Preschool series at the Irish animation awards.
Peek Zoo is a series where a warm and engaging cast of characters, led by zookeeper Mr Peek, take viewers on a journey to learn about the animal kingdom. It has proved to be popular around the globe, with buyers including Kika in Germany, SRF in Switzerland, MG ALBA in the UK, Ninova in Turkey, Al Jazeera in the Middle East, DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden and YLE in Finland. The series is also popular on streaming sites Kidoodle and Azoomee. Peek Zoo was produced by the IFTA awardwinning studio Dream Logic.
Urban Tails is a musical series that sees urban animals teach viewers about what their lives are really like in hip-hop inspired songs. This short form program has been picked up by Kidstreet in the US, TVO in Canada and Showmax in Africa and with streaming sites Epic, Azoomee and Kidoodle. The tracks from Urban Tails are available to stream on Spotify, where they receive nearly 50,000 monthly listens. Urban Tails was produced by Pink Kong Studios.
