A capsule collection for autumn/winter 2021 inspired by the historic MTV animated series featuring the sarcastic teenager

After Beavis & Butthead seen in the SS 2021 collection, another icon of the MTV generation of the late nineties is the protagonist of a new capsule collection for autumn/winter 2021: Daria.

Created as a counterpoint to the two characters created by Mike Judge, Daria was the first female character in American animation to combine street sarcasm, literary culture and pop references. A perfect satire of American bro-culture, and at the same time a precursor of many cynical and ironic characters that would win over audiences in later years.

It is precisely from the collaboration of the iconic MTV property with IUTER, a high quality streetwear brand entirely designed and produced since 2002 in Milan – the city that saw the birth and growth of the brand, but also the streetwear revolution – that the unisex Sick World capsule collection was born, consisting of a jumper and a T-shirt with a classic urban fit style: cheeky and super original to look at, comfortable to wear.

The Iuter x Daria collaboration is inspired by the fictional TV show featured in the series: Sick, Sad World, a parody of the infotainment programmes beloved by the American public. Sick, Sad World is never shown in its entirety in the series, but only told through ads and commercials.
