Electric mobility at the service of hospitality: Repower brings its sustainability-related ecosystem to Rimini. From the DINAclub project for cycle tourism to E-LOUNGE for e-bikes, from PALINA, the design recharging device, to the LAMBROgino electric cargobike
Repower, an energy group that has been active in the energy sector for more than 100 years, is participating in the 58th edition of TTG Travel Experience Rimini, the leading international tourism event, from 13 to 15 October in Rimini. On the same days it will also be present at SIA Hospitality Design, the most comprehensive showcase in Italy for the hospitality sector, and on 12 October at Hospitality Day, also in Rimini at the Palacongressi, the training event dedicated to hospitality operators and all the key players in the sector.
Repower will be bringing its exclusive sustainable mobility ecosystem to Rimini, which has already featured at the 78th Venice Film Festival. At stands 67 and 94 of TTG and SIA respectively, visitors will be able to find out about both the solutions dedicated to two- and four-wheel mobility, as well as the recharging infrastructure network and the various services connected to it.
At TTG, the e-bike world will be the starting point, with DINAclub, the project created to electrify Italian cycle paths, thanks also to the collaboration with the reference platform in tourplanning, komoot. The cornerstone of the new project, recently presented at the Eroica di Gaiole, is Repower’s new, specially developed recharging tool: DINA, the innovative rack designed by Makio Hasuike, who won the Golden Compass for his career, which allows seven e-bikes to be anchored and recharged simultaneously. Also with two wheels in mind, there will also be E-LOUNGE, the intelligent bench for e-bikes designed by Antonio Lanzillo & Partners, which returns to Rimini as the winner of the Compasso d’Oro for Design 2020. Lastly, there will also be PALINA, the B2B recharging tool designed by Italo Rota and Alessandro Pedretti.
At SIA, the presence will be more linked to energy efficiency and sustainable mobility products, starting with the LAMBROgino Cargobike which, together with the LAMBROgio model, represents design excellence. Designed by Makio Hasuike, winner of the Compasso d’Oro Career Award, they are lightweight three-wheeled pedal-assisted vehicles useful for various activities, from urban mobility to widespread hospitality facilities.
The four-day event in Rimini will also be an opportunity to get to know the world of Ricarica 101, the largest circuit built entirely in Italy by private individuals and already a best practice at European level, which allows all electric drivers to discover the beauties of Italy in full respect of the environment and with maximum savings, thanks to the fast and connected recharging offered by all the facilities that have joined the circuit.
Repower will present its vision of sustainable mobility in two speeches dedicated to the HO.RE.CA. sector, entitled “Electric mobility at the service of the hospitality sector”.
