Fedez teams up with Hot Wheels and Original Marines for a special 360° collaboration
When it comes to vehicles, the #1 brand is definitely Hot Wheels, the most loved for over 50 years. The success of Hot Wheels, currently the world’s best-selling vehicle line, is due to the incredible cars that offer an intuitive way to play. The brand’s goal is to nurture the
Challenger Spirit in every child, encouraging them to try, fail and try again until they succeed. Thanks to the incredible flaming model cars and the dizzying tracks and playsets, children and adults can experience first-hand the daring and adrenaline-pumping challenges on (mini) four-wheelers.
The Hot Wheels challenges fascinate not only the little ones, but also the older ones who have made it an iconic brand over the years. Among these fans of the adult generation is multifaceted artist Fedez, who is joining forces with Hot Wheels and Original Marines for a special 360° collaboration. As a true fan of the brand, Fedez has signed two exclusive capsule collections of clothing for Hot Wheels, one for adults and one for kids, together with Original Marines, to reinterpret, through his eyes and memories, the emotions of the challenges he experienced as a child playing with Hot Wheels tracks and cars.
It was thanks to a Hot Wheels challenge that Fedez became the testimonial of this collaboration: the artist was invited by Hot Wheels to build the craziest track ever, using the entire Track Builder line. An unconventional meeting between Hot Wheels and Fedez, who accepted the adrenaline-filled challenge. In the Muschio Selvaggio studios, he demonstrated his creativity, ingenuity and technique by creating an incredible track with breathtaking acrobatics! Only after completing the “construction” of the track did Fedez enjoy his award: a delicious dish of spaghetti with tomato sauce.
The central theme of both capsule collections is the Italian spirit and in particular one of the main reasons for which Italy is famous worldwide: pasta. The Hot Wheels logo has thus been revisited by Fedez, through the illustrations of Claudio Azzolini: the iconic Hot Wheels flame becomes an inviting plate of spaghetti with meatballs that comes to life from a Hot Wheels model, all in cartoon style.
Capsule Collection Adult – Spaghetti Race
The Hot Wheels logo revisited by Fedez thus becomes the protagonist of Spaghetti Race, an adult capsule collection consisting of two sweatshirts, two t-shirts and two jumpsuit pants in 100% cotton and with an oversized fit, all garments are screen printed and have the Hot Wheels logo embroidered. The capsule collection is on sale for a limited time at

The first super contemporary collaboration of the FW 21/22 season sees an exceptional driver joining the HotWheels team: FEDEZ. Comfortable-fitting garments, round-neck sweatshirt, zip hoodie and gauzed fleece trousers, 100% cotton jersey t-shirt, to ensure maximum comfort both at play and during the various activities of the day. The colour range winks at the world of grown-ups with black and grey interspersed with white, an excellent basis for highlighting the series of lively graphics resulting from this collaboration, in which a bright green HotWheels whizzes by at full speed on a Spaghetti Meatballs track. The capsule collection will be on sale in all Original Marines stores and on the official website www.originalmarines.com/fedez-hotwheels.
Hot Wheels, Fedez and Original Marines have also joined forces for a heartfelt challenge: in September, the month in which the two capsule collections are released, they will donate part of the proceeds from the sale of Hot Wheels Track Builder toys and the two capsule collections for adults and children* to charity. The proceeds will go to the OBM Association of the Vittore Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan to redecorate the play area for the young patients in the hospital with a Hot Wheels theme.
The video and the creativity of the project were created by Fedez in collaboration with Doom Entertainment and Mattel. The coordination of the capsule collections project is held by Victoria Licensing & Marketing, consultant for Mattel Europe Consumer Products in Italy.
