Bratz® may be turning 20 but they definitely do not age and still remain an inspirational culture catalyst. For 20 years, Bratz® has captivated the hearts of fans around the world with their ‘Passion 4 Fashion’ and bold attitude. 2021 marks The 20th anniversary of the birth of Bratz® and we will be celebrating a yearlong celebration highlighting the cultural impact Bratz® has made among fans everywhere.

On May 21st, one of the first and most exciting ways Bratz® is celebrating this monumental occasion will be with the re-release of the original core 4; Cloe, Sasha, Jade & Yasmin. They will be sold online at Hot Topic and will roll out in-store on June 2nd. Subsequently, starting in July, all original dolls will be available at Walmart, Target & Amazon.

Bratz dolls are unapologetically themselves, creating a cultural shift then when they debuted in 2001 and are still supporting diversity and inclusivity. With all the change in the world in the last 20 years, the ladies are as strong today as they were back then, influencing pop culture and shaping the beauty standard, inspiring then and now. One of the first doll brands to show diversity, inclusion and real -life aspects of what fans experience, are just some of the reasons why Bratz has sustained two decades of fan-damonium and adoration.  

Jasmin Larian says, “ Bratz completely disrupted the industry at the time when Barbie was the norm, and the purist perception of what a woman should be. Bratz were and are just so cool, fashion forward and rule breaking. They spoke to what kids actually wanted, not what their parents felt like they should want. They were also a diverse group which was shockingly new at the time.” Bratz dolls have been woven into the fabric of our culture right now and we are celebrating by giving the fans what they want – the original core 4!

Also to note, according to Tubular Labs, UGC content has sustained interest and viewership of Bratz, which has grown 2.2x in comparison to Barbie over the last 3 years and boasts over 1.7 Trillion views on Youtube!
