13 May - 2021

Franco Cosimo Panini unveils the FATE: The Winx Saga collections, the Netflix live action series inspired by the Winx Club brand

Rainbow and Franco Cosimo Panini Editore have closed an important agreement for the development of a sophisticated and fashionable collection dedicated to the live action series FATE: the Winx saga, a highly successful Netflix series that is one of the most viewed on the platform.

Products that Panini will launch include the 12-month school diary and a gift collection, both inspired by the series’ eye-catching style guide, to which they pay homage.

The diary will be available in specialty stores, stationery stores and online from June 2021 while the fabric accessories, gadgets and gift ideas in the gift collection will be on sale from October.

One of the world’s largest licensors and in the licensing business for over twenty years, Rainbow is the exclusive global licensor of the Netflix live action series inspired by the famous Winx Club animated saga, an evergreen brand created by Rainbow President and CEO Iginio Straffi.

Panini joins the roster of prestigious deals already closed by Rainbow to accompany the launch of the Netflix hit, for which a second season is already in production and will be released on the platform in 2022: for the edition of the official novel of the series written by Ava Corrigan, which will be available in 13 languages, the publishing partners are Mondadori for Italy, Scholastic Books for the USA, Hachette for France, RBA for Spain and Latin America, Loewe Verlag for Germany, Epsilon for Turkey, AST for Russia, Ciranda Cultural for Brazil.

A number of agreements in the fashion category have also been finalized, including DTRs with Don’t Call Me Jennifer, a French retailer with 300 points of sale that is also present in Europe, and with RIACHIUELO, one of the leading fashion retailers in Brazil with 325 points of sale, as well as the pan-European agreement with the Dutch company DIFUZED.
