Nefertine, the first young reporter from the ancient Egypt lands on the Italian TV broadcaster Rai Yoyo
Set in Ancient Egypt, comes the new animated series Nefertine on the Nile, starring a little girl of 8 years with inexhaustible curiositỳ and great courage, from May 10 is on air every day on Rai Yoyo.
52 episodes of 11 minutes produced by the Roman company Graphilm of Maurizio Forestieri – director of the series – in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi, to combine fun, adventure and some taste of historical information.
A journey full of discoveries and fun, in which the courageous Nefertina and her friends accompany the children to discover Ancient Egypt. Joyful stories based on values as solid as the stones of the pyramids: friendship, loyalty, a sense of justice and a desire to learn.
The series tells of the exciting adventures of Nefertina, daughter of the Pharaoh’s scribe, who has a unique ability for the time: she can read and write! That’s why she aspires to become the first scribe-reporter in Egyptian history. To exercise this talent, Nefertina reports all the events in her papyrus diary. But it’s not easy being a budding journalist in Ancient Egypt! Nefertina, always a bit reckless, has a particular talent for getting into trouble. Luckily, her trusty friend Piramses is always ready to lend her a hand. The two friends, accompanied by the cat Micerina, between investigations, small fears and great discoveries live many fantastic adventures in the shadow of the Pyramids, including mysterious mummies and investigations by Sphinx.
The series is taken from a book series by Janna Carioli and Luisa Mattia, with illustrations by Barbara Bongini, the artist who also designed the characters and the sets of the animated series. Original music by Roberto Frattini.
