At the annual Superior Taste Award held in Brussels, the sparkling drink of Chupa Chups was awarded the 2021 Superior Taste Award for its strawberry cream flavour in the category of soft drinks, juices and non-alcoholic beverages
The beverage is produced by Namyang in South Korea and the award has been granted to its distributor Korina Trade Co. Ltd.
This prestigious award is proclaimed and certified by an independent jury of the world’s best chefs and sommeliers at the International Taste Institute in Belgium. The jury highlighted that the Chupa Chups sparkling drink is a surprising drink with inviting strawberry aromas that fits the product description perfectly and praised its sweet, slightly powdery taste that evokes nostalgic aromas of strawberry milk.
The sparkling drink was first launched in South Korea and following a successful launch it has quickly expanded into many other markets in Asia, Europe and the Americas where it is sold in convenience stores, supermarkets and specialty stores.
